Anti-Ragging Committee

In compliance with the directives of the Supreme Court of India and UGC regulations, the Anti-Ragging Committee has been constituted to prevent any incident of ragging in the college campus. The committee takes strict action against any form of ragging.

Warning: Ragging is a criminal offence. Any student found guilty of ragging will face strict disciplinary action including expulsion from the institution and criminal prosecution.

How to Report a Ragging Incident

If you witness or experience ragging on campus, report it immediately. You can report anonymously and your identity will be completely protected. Do not hesitate — ragging ruins lives.

Report Immediately

Call or personally approach the Anti-Ragging Committee Chairperson or any committee member immediately after the incident. You may also call the UGC Anti-Ragging Helpline: 1800-180-5522.

File a Written Complaint

Submit a written complaint mentioning your name (optional), contact number, date and location of the incident, names of alleged perpetrators (if known), and details of the incident.

Investigation

The committee will initiate an immediate inquiry within 24 hours of receiving the complaint. Interim protective measures will be put in place for the victim.

Action & Follow-Up

Strict punitive action will be taken against those found guilty. The victim will be provided full support and the case will be closed with a full report within 7 working days.
